Murder verses Murder

Alas, A Blog has the perfect cartoon up to describe the anti-choice nuts’ position on the death of Dr. Tiller. It’s practically a perfect representation.

Does the fact that the murderer had no association with any mainstream pro-life group mean anything to you? Or will you keep muddying everything together to make the waters more murkeyer than they are?

Murder is murder, no matter where it takes place-in a church, in a womb or on the street. It’s still murder.

No actually, it does mean nothing to me. Does one have to have be associated to a group to agree with them? Or to listen to their rhetoric? Or to feel that you are the one who should do what they are saying to do? No. You don’t. I don’t have any association or ties to the National Organization for Women but when they issue an action alert I pay attention and see if there is anything I can do. Is it really so unthinkable that a man with no ties to a pro-life group would still listen to their propaganda and see if he could act in a way that he felt (in a sick twisted way) would help?

And frankly I don’t see how pointing out that one group constantly drop obvious hints that someone should be murdered and then that person is murdered muddies the water? It seems more like making a basic observation to me.
